Spring Schedule 2015

Mt. Bike Training

Who: Multiple Masaters National Champion experienced trainer, and League Cycling Instructor, Kathy McLeod, will coordinate a team from Del Mar Middle School and Mill Valley Middle School to prep for High School mt. bike racing.

What: Athletes will be assessed on fitness and bike handling skills. Coaching will prepare team members for High School Mt. Bike Racing.  All entrants must demonstrate the ability to make correct choices while riding on the road and path. Our start and end locations will be the same. One time sign up includes five Mondays and a Kali Hi-Vis Helmet. Team cycling gear will be offered for purchase.

When: Mondays April 20th, 27th, May 4th, 11th and 18th from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.

Where: Blackies Pasture April 20th, 27th and May 4th.

Mill Valley Skate Park May 11th and 18th.

How much? Pre-registration = $50

Late registration =$60

1. RSVP by filling out and signing the BikeClub_Registration form. Send to with your payment.  Or print and mail registrations and checks to WheelEscape, 775 E. Blithedale #390, Mill Valley CA 94941.
Option #2 Fill out the form and bring it with your check on the first day. (Add $10 for day of registration.)

If you want to earn community service hours you are needed to help with our Elementary School programs.


Earn Community Service hours, get job training and good exercise and learn valuable leadership skills. If you enjoy bicycling this is a great opportunity for you in many ways.

1. RSVP by filling out and signing the Registration form. Send to or  WheelEscape, 775 E. Blithedale #390, Mill Valley CA 94941.

2. Your time begins at 2:45 on Wednesdays and 3:45  Monday through Friday depending on which day you sign up for. You are needed for one or two hours depending on class size. You will be asked to ride from your school to meet at the blacktop of a nearby elementary school or another location. You will receive instructions in the afternoon the day before Bike Club.

2. You will receive a Kali Hi-Vis helmet and t-shirt, which is required for Bike Club so make sure you wear BOTH! You will learn a lot!! You will have fun. You will be positive and you will be a leader AND you will be impressive! If you are ready… your training will earn you a certification to teach. The training you receive is free! We expect only your best effort.

3. Please make sure to bring your community service hour form. You will receive community service time in relation to your contribution of time.
